According to my boss, Carolyn Foote, I am a lurker - someone who reads other people’s blogs but doesn’t post comments. I find myself writing, revising, revising, and then deleting my comments in the belief that perhaps what I have to say is not worth considering. Case in point, I started this blog about a year ago and today, 4/25/2008, I deleted my original post and am starting all over. This is my attempt to be an active participant, to become more adept with the technology,  and, most importantly,  to direct some attention to the authors who have offered me so much enjoyment.  I confess that I am a bibliophile. I have stacks and stacks of book, many waiting to be read.  Every day the list seems to grow. I am not an audiobook fan. I derive too much enjoyment from holding a book in my hands, and advancing through a story at my own pace and imagining my own “voices”.  This blog is my first attempt  to join the world web community. Hopefully someone will find it worthwhile.
